Fall Fun!

Fall is finally here and we are loving the cooler mornings and nights!  Miss Kate is finally in her fall wardrobe-probably more fun for mommy than Kate.  It's Fall Break this week, so we are enjoying shopping, lunch dates and having lots of fun together.

Just an Ordinary Day!

I am sitting here listening to the baby monitor and watching Kate go to sleep...oh, what a sweet baby.  Each and every day amazes me - she's getting so big (9.5 month now) and she is learning so many new things.  There isn't a moment that goes by that I don't count my blessings in life and Kate I count twice! I love being a mom, I love being her mom!  I love you Kate, sweet dreams and have a good nap baby girl.

Meet Me in St. Louis!

We went to St. Louis this past weekend for a family wedding!  We had such a wonderful time hanging out with family and staying busy, busy, busy!  The weather cooled down to the 70's while we were there.  It was so fun to introduce Miss Kate to such a fabulous city.  All of the photos explain all of the fun!

The night before the wedding...Mike's parents came in to watch Kate, so we had a great night out!

Dinner Out!

We took the little princess to dinner tonight at one of my favorite places, Pita Jungle...yum!  It was perfect, because it's loud and there's a lot to distract her.  She was on her very best behavior and even sampled some delicious hummus.  We definitely need to acclimate her to a Mediterranean diet:)  It was a great Friday night and fun way to start the weekend.

To Keep or Not to Keep?

So we are heading out of town next week and needed a special outfit for the princess, I found this cute and a bit obnoxious one!!!  Not sure if it's made the cut (might actually return it - isn't that bad!) but either way we had to take some photos!  Too adorable:)

Miss Kate loves looking at the "baby" in the mirror...not quite sure if she realizes that she is looking at herself, SILLY GIRL!

Summer Fun!

It's definitely HOT here!!!!  We've had a great month, although we are doing everything we can to try to escape the heat.  We spend a lot of time playing inside.  Earlier this month we were in Pinetop and enjoyed sunny days and cool nights. 
Miss Kate is so much fun, she's now 7 months and is doing so many new things.

What's new with Miss Kate?

• Sitting up (almost)
• Not sleeping in (5 a.m. is just too early little girl:)!
• Laughing tons
• Eating fruit now...so yummy!
• Waving Bye-Bye
• Open mouth kisses
• Patty-Cake and the Itsy Bitsy Spider
